In the last century, women were considered "good girls" if they pursued typist careers. Nowadays, girls are still taught from childhood how to be a "good girl." girls are instructed to sit with their legs closed, stand on the right-hand side, and speak softly. However, boys are not taught these norms. What is a "good girl"? What should girls be like? I visualize these rules imposed on women through sound and changing the shape of chairs in daily life. This project intends to raise viewers' awareness of the prejudice women experience in society and encourage them to consider how to advance gender equality in the future.
在上个世纪，女性若从事打字员等职业，便会被视为“乖女孩”。时至今日，女孩从小依然被教导如何做一个“乖女孩”：要双腿并拢地坐好，要靠右站立，要轻声细语。而这些规范却很少被用来要求男孩。那么，“乖女孩”到底意味着什么？女孩究竟应该成为什么样子？我通过声音与日常生活中椅子的形态变化，呈现那些被加诸于女性身上的“规训”。本项目旨在唤起观者对女性在社会中所遭遇偏见的关注，并引发他们思考：我们应如何共同推动性别平等的未来？
